Dr. Svetlana Zats is Board Eligible in Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABPS) and has recently completed a 3-year surgical residency of the foot and ankle at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She has also completed a Foot and Ankle Surgical Fellowship in Germany and is also an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Zats enjoys volleyball, horseback riding, and international culture.

Dr. Dave Gelbmann is board qualified in both foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in biology and molecular biology in 2006. He then returned to his home city of Cleveland to attend the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated in 2011 in the top 10 percent of his class.

Following podiatry school Dr. Gelbmann underwent an intense, three-year surgical residency training at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, MI. There, he performed two to three surgeries per weekday under the direction and mentorship of some of Michigan’s finest foot and ankle surgeons.

Gelbmann spent his first year after residency working in private practice in Vernon Hills, IL, as well as seeing patients and performing surgery while on staff at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital.

When not treating patients, he spends most of his free time with his wife and daughter, Madison. He also enjoys biking and running outdoors.


Dr. George Tsatsos is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABMSP), Foot and Ankle Orthopedics (ABPOPPM) and Podiatric Surgery (AAPM).  He is a life member and fitness advisor for the American Running and Fitness Association as well as a member of Midwest Academy of Ambulatory Foot Surgery and the American College of Sports Medicine. He is an avid skier, scuba-diver, and martial arts.


Dr. Kevin Massard graduated from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1999.  He completed his residency program in the orthopedic surgery dept. of Chicago's busiest level one trauma center, Cook County Hospital.
He was responsible for training medical students rotating through the hospital as well as in-house patients.  Dr. Massard enjoys the outdoors.  He is an avid fisherman, and participates in many fishing tournaments all over the United States.


Dr Mariano Rivera is board qualified (ABPS) in foot and ankle surgery as well as reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. He completed a 3 – year surgical residency at one of the busiest level one trauma centers in Chicago, Stroger Cook County Hospital. He then went on and further honed his surgical skills at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital where he served as Chief resident his senior year.  Since graduating from Masonic hospital, he has returned, and plays an active role in educating the residents.  He was born and raised in the Humboldt park neighborhood of Chicago, and enjoys every opportunity to give back to the Hispanic community he loves.  He enjoys spending time with his wife and two beautiful daughters. He enjoys swimming, scuba-diving, mountain biking, and martial arts.
